President Donald Trump confronted a “one-sided” reporter at the White House on Wednesday, turning the tables and demanding an answer from him instead.

ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl can be heard asking Trump, “Why not sign the other bills though so some of these workers can get paid?”

“Do you think I should do that? No, do you think I should do that, Jon? And I want your one-sided reporting,” Trump said. “Do you think I should do that?”

Karl responded by claiming the “argument” on the other side is that he should sign the bills that have nothing to do with border security to end part of the government shutdown.

“I’m saying that if you sign that, these workers can start getting paid,” Karl said.

“So, if you were in my position, you would do that?” Trump asked.

“I’m not in your position,” Karl conceded.

That’s when Trump dropped the hammer.

“I’m asking you: Would you do that if you were in my position? Because if you would do that, you should never be in this position, because you would never get anything done,” Trump shot back.

Immediately after the exchange, Trump ended the press conference completely.

“Goodbye everybody, thank you very much,” he added.
