The woman caught on camera allegedly assaulting a man in a MAGA hat has been detained by Immigrants and Customs Enforcement.

It turns out that the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Rosiane Santos, is in the country illegally. She is an “unlawfully present citizen of Brazil,” ICE officials said in a statement.

Santos now faces deportation as well as charges of disorderly conduct and assault and battery following her now-viral assault at a Mexican restaurant in Massachusetts.

The victim in the case, Bryton Turner, walked into the Casa Vallarta restaurant on Friday and ordered his food. Unprovoked, Santos reportedly started yelling at him because of his MAGA hat.

Turner decided to begin video recording the woman after she started harassing him.

The bartender at the restaurant confirmed to Boston 25 News that Turner did nothing to provoke his attacker.

“When police showed up to the restaurant, the woman told them the man shouldn't be allowed to eat in a Mexican restaurant. President Donald Trump is aiming to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border,” Boston 25 reported.

The report added: “As Falmouth police officers were escorting Santos out of the restaurant, Macarao said she took another swipe at Turner.”

ICE officials said Tuesday they had taken Santos into custody.

"Deportation officers with ICE's Fugitive Operations Team arrested Rosie Santos, an unlawfully present citizen of Brazil," ICE said in a statement.

The statement continued: “Santos is facing local charges for assault and other offenses. She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.”

That’s what we call instant karma.
